A rather technical but well researched blog article has just been released here by Kaspersky Lab.

It details very technical information about the Cryptofortress/Cryptowall viruses (Torlocker).  Towards the end of the article (under "Partnership Program") they show just how easy it is to buy a copy of the program which makes the virus; your choice about the profit share with the developer.  It also shows the happy previous customers!

How do I send the virus by email without getting caught?

Easy, you can rent the use of a Command and Control Network (botnet) from the same place you bought your Crypto virus maker - The Onion Ring (TOR) network, aka the Dark Web.

* Botnets are vast numbers of trojan virus infected computers - your Mum & Dad's, your Grandparents, really anyone who doesn't have decent antivirus and likes to click on random email links promising something awesome
